Abstract
Located in the cryptoporticus of the villa de Els Munts, the room was nymphaeum functions. The room known as 4600 originally communicates with a third room which was later transformed into a cistern. Structural reform, the door was boarded up and installed a fountain that was inside the room 4600, which supplied water to the cistern. The front of this fountain was decorated with a painting of the god Oceanus, very common representation fountains and pools and a inscription commemorating the construction of a cistern with a fountain promoted by C. Valerius Avitus and his wife Faustina .Decorated panel came two lead pipes running through the wall of the tank and emptied into the fountain. The lower tube, which passes underneath the coated panel, was the point where the source was fed, regulated by a brass valve located at the other end of the pipe, the inner wall of the tank. The other was a security measure in case there is too much water in the tank.

Villa romnana situada muy cerca del mar, en una elevación del terreno.

Elevación muy cercana a la costa.
Architecture: Cisterna situada en el criptopóprtio de la villa, con un sistema de extracción del agua mediante una canalización de plomo y decorada exteriormente con una pintura que representa al dios Okeanos,con uns inscripción referida al constructor de la misma.
Materials used: Opus caementicium,revestimiento interno de opus signinum, pintura mural, tuberias de plomo
Building Technique: Muros de opus caementicium revestidos interiormente en opus signinum y con estuco y pintura mural en la cara exterior donde se situa el surtidor.
Transformations: No se observan. La cisterna aprovecha una habitación preexistente.
